Juvéderm® – is a long-lasting gel that is injected into the skin with an ultra-fine needle, which lifts and adds volume to the injected areas. It is similar to the body’s own natural substance (hyaluronic acid) and is a proven safe and effective treatment.
When the structural elements of the dermis (collagen, hyaluronic acid, elastin fibers) begin to break down with age, wrinkles and sagging skin develop. Hyaluronic acid acts as a network onto which collagen and elastin fibers bind. As it breaks down, wrinkles and jowls develop and volume loss occurs. Juvederm supplements the body’s age-depleted hyaluronic acid to augment or to add volume to the skin and fill treated areas.
Juvederm is completely natural and will restore and smooth curves to your face diminishing the signs of aging.
Deep folds (nasolabial folds)
Lip enhancement – minimize smoker lines, restore fullness lost after weight-loss or with age, accentuate pout and pillows, and create voluptuousness for thin lips
Cheek Enhancement – increase volume of cheek bone area resulting in enhanced facial contours and balance
Décolletage lines (cleavage wrinkles) – improves skin smoothness and elasticity, diminishes the appearance of crepey lines and the effects of sun damage
Shaping facial contours (cheeks and/or chin correction) also known as non-surgical facelift (liquid facelift)

Non-surgical nose job (liquid rhinoplasty) ideal for individuals with a crooked shape, depressions, small bridge, sharp angles, bumps, and unattractive nasal tip

Within the first 24 hours following treatment, you should avoid exercise, excessive sun or heat exposure, and consumption of alcohol in order to help minimize the risks of temporary side effects such as redness, swelling, and/or itching at the treatment site.
After the filler treatment at Trifecta Med Spa Long Island, temporary injection-related reactions may occur, including redness, pain, firmness, swelling, and bumps. Studies show that these rare side effects are usually mild to moderate in nature and clear up within a few short days. Juvederm is easy to tolerate due to anesthetic properties in the mixture and through the use of a very small needle. At Trifecta Med Spa Long Island we use the numbing cream as an anesthetic to avoid any discomfort during Juvederm treatment.
As with any injectable treatment, light bruising may occur.
